The campus in Gdańsk is the second largest research and development institute of Intel (apart from the American one) on a global scale. The newly built sixth building within the campus premises will be referred to as IGK6. According to the project owner’s declarations, its laboratories will carry out projects regarding e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomous vehicles or data storage security.
Employees of the new office will make use of 900 parking spaces and 40 vehicle charging stations. IGK6 will be a modern building with numerous facilities, such as a gym, a restaurant (that will accommodate 500 persons at the same time), which may also act as a large conference room, a café, a spa (hairdresser, massage parlour, beauty salon), a doctor’s office, a games room, a music room, a prayer room, a grocery store, training rooms, quiet rooms, etc.
The construction of the five-storey office building with a total floor space of 27,400 m2 is scheduled to be completed in the mid of 2023.
